High Pressure Laminate (dHPL)

For agencies and designers who desire unlimited freedom in their graphic panel design, pressure laminate panels are the panel of choice. This method uses the latest in outdoor durable inkjet technology and thus the sign graphic is produced directly from a digital file. The graphic imaging surface paper is impregnated with melamine resins and is combined with kraft paper core sheets impregnated with phenolic resins. These sheets are then bonded under high pressure and temperature. Finished sheets are then cut and edge finished.

Maximum sheet size is 5X12 ft. with maximum image size of 58X142 in. Several thicknesses are available with 1/8 and 1/2 in. the most popular. Custom shapes are available and threaded inserts may be placed in the 1/2 in. material for mounting purposes. Available as both outdoor or indoor panels. A 10-year warranty is standard.

Polycarbonate/Aluminum Composite

We began producing these panels a number of years ago in order to fill a need for a relatively inexpensive and yet aesthetically pleasing graphic panel which would be outdoor durable.

The sign consists of a .020 polycarbonate sheet sub-surface screen-printed and laminated to a .063 aluminum panel which fits most commercial frame systems.

The velvet finish of the top surface lends a sense of quality to the panel while the co-extruded over-laminate offers additional UV filtering and protection from both weather and the attempts of vandals.

The polycarbonate/aluminum panel has proved to be a viable alternative to other more costly sign systems and is available in any size up to 24x36 in.

The polycarbonate/aluminum panels produced here at Genesis Graphics are being used throughout the country with highly favorable results. They may be found high in the mountains of the northwest covered with snow during a number of months each year. You may also view them in the desert regions of the southwest...the historic battlefields in the east and throughout the midwest.

Typical users of the polycarbonate/aluminum panels are Forest Services, Park Services, Dept. of Natural Resources, Corps. of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Museums, Zoos, Parks, cities...well, we think you get the idea. If you have an interpretive sign project, Genesis Graphics would like to be your source.
